Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide good quality food in sufficient quantities in a timely fashion.
- Maintain the food service areas, equipment, and practices that meet or exceed accreditation regulatory standards for food service and a high level of cleanliness to include all kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
- Provide for a safe, productive, and healthy work environment for food service consistent with Timber-lee’s values and its policies and procedures through the proper management of all equipment and food service personnel during the assigned shift.
- Provide a welcoming, friendly hospitality experience to Timber-lee’s guests.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Is a professing Christian committed to following, in spirit and practice the principles outlined in the statement of faith.
- Has a working understanding of food production, presentation, and kitchen sanitation.
- Has experience and/or culinary education.
- Is able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds for a distance of 10 feet.
- Is able to pick up items weighing up to 50 pounds off the floor, carry them up or down 12 stairs, and lift them head high to storage shelving.
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative.
- Possesses good communication skills.
