An exciting introduction to overnight camp for our younger campers not quite ready for a full week away from home. All of the excitement and adventure Timber-lee has to offer in a three day/two night program. Trained, loving counselors guide campers through activities such as crafts, swimming, archery, and more. Combined with our focus on spiritual growth, this is a great first time camp opportunity.

"The best week of the summer!" How else can you describe a week filled with great camp activities and focused around learning to walk with Jesus? Try new things, make new friends and gain the self confidence and independence that a week at camp can provide. Incredible music, a fun speaker and caring counselors make an unforgettable experience that can be life changing.

Horsemanship Camp

Campers get to spend two hours each day at the ranch with one hour in Western riding instruction and the one hour learning about horse care and safety. The rest of the day will be spent doing many of the other great activities that camp has to offer. This camp is geared toward beginner riders.

Trailblazer Boys

(Difficulty rating: 1 paddle) Do you have what it takes to become a Trailblazer? Rough it a little as you spend your week on site at Timber-lee blending traditional classic camp activities with learning basic outdoor living and survival skills. Your qualified group of male counselors will teach you what it means to be a man of God. End the week by using your skills to complete the “Evasion” course and spend the night at a campout across the lake.

Junior Discovery

Unplug your child from the pace of everyday life and inspire him or her to explore God’s beauty through nature. Guided by our caring and trained staff, campers will spend two to three hours each morning or afternoon and a couple of evenings observing the wild things that we casual observers sometimes miss. They will take the time to follow deer, raccoon or rabbit tracks, look under logs and in ponds to discover salamanders, frogs and newts, and feel the wonder of the unique sensory experience of dawn, dusk and evening. When not involved in this “hands in” experience , your child will be able to take part in many of the other great activities that Timber-lee has to offer. Discovery campers will stay in our usual camp cabins and take part in all chapel sessions and meals with our Classic Camp program.
