There is no better way to begin a young person’s camp experience than with this two night program designed for our youngest campers. The days are filled with swimming, climbing the tower, holding and learning about small animals in the nature center, making crafts and playing games. Each cabin group has a caring, trained counselor to supervise and guide them throughout their stay. Campers are a part of chapel twice each day to worship with the band and hear from an energetic speaker who will challenge them in their relationship with Jesus.

This camp is geared towards the beginner rider that loves horses and wants to learn more about them. Campers will enjoy two hours at the ranch each day. One hour is spent in Western riding instruction in our outdoor arena. The second hour includes horse safety and basic care and handling. At the end of the week campers can enjoy their new skills as they experience a trail ride. Returning campers who have learned the appropriate skills will have the opportunity to advance each year within the program. While not at the ranch, campers can participate in the many other exciting activities Timber-lee has to offer.

Guided by our caring and trained staff, campers will spend two to three hours each day discovering God’s wonderful creation through hands-on, sensory-rich exploration. While Discovery campers enjoy many of the same activities as Classic campers, this program is designed to foster the love of the natural world and the skill of creative play.

Led by their trained college age counselor, campers will work to improve their hand-eye coordination by taking part in flu-flu (a variation of archery), safely handling a pellet gun, using a sling shot and more. Campers will participate in all meals and chapel sessions with the Classic Camp program.
