As a high-school student, you have a lot of demands on your time and energy. What you need is a week at Timber-lee to rejuvenate! Time away from the daily grind for great classic camp activities, special tournaments, talent show, and amazing “high school week only” late-night activities. At chapel you’ll find music and speakers selected specially to communicate with youth. Your counselor will be there for you to have fun with and lead you in cabin devotions as you and your cabin mates get to know each other. Make new friends, try new things, and most importantly be challenged to follow Jesus in everything you do. Get ready for one of the most exciting weeks of your year!
Step it up and take your camp experience to the next extreme! Paintball on our speedball and wooded courses, put your putter and driver into action at a nearby disc golf course, and head out to the tower for instruction from experienced climbers in the art of climbing and rappelling. This week we will not only trap shoot with shotguns, but head over to the firing range and get a more diverse experience with rifles. Spend your final day speeding through over 20 miles of mountain bike trails in the beautiful Kettle Moraine Forest. Whew!
This camp is for those truly horse crazy teens. Spend four to five hours each day at the ranch participating in activities that include Western Horsemanship, horse care and handling, vaulting, grooming, saddling, and other horse-related events. Enjoy a trail ride out to our base camp one night for an overnight trip with your horse! This camp is for any level of rider. Campers entering into or returning to the Wranglers program have the chance to advance within the levels taught each year by mastering the appropriate skills. There will be limited time available each day for other Timber-lee activity areas.
Do you love to sing and play music for the Lord? Then this new camp session packed full of musical worship is for you! Psalm 150 tells us that we need to praise the Lord everywhere and with everything. The chapter ends with, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Play and sing alongside Timber-lee’s own worship band as you learn everything from instrumental and vocal instrumentation to the teamwork necessary to be part of a musical group. We will spend the week focusing on leading people into worship with opportunity for hands - on experience. This week will challenge your musical abilities* and take you to the next level!

Head up north to Lake Superior! Explore the sea caves and white sandy beaches from a perspective you can only reach by water. Packing all your gear in your kayak, you will put your new sea-kayaking skills to use as you paddle to a new destination each day and camp on a different island each night. Push yourself physically as our caring guides challenge you spiritually in what promises to be a week if intense fun and adventure!

Whitewater rafting, rock climbing and spelunking. This trip does it all in a week! Your journey begins as you challenge the rapids of the Wolf River with your Timber-lee Adventure Guide showing you the way. After conquering the rapids you’ll set your sights a little higher as you prepare to climb a 40 foot rock face at Devil’s Lake State Park. After that taste of being on top of the world, get ready to experience some underground fun as you explore the incredible tunnels and caves of Western Wisconsin.

#423 Kentucky is rated the eleventh poorest state in the US. As you arrive at your work site, you may be surprised to see how some of your fellow citizens live. Our group will make a difference in the lives of people who live day to day wondering where their next meal will come from. You will be rebuilding dreams and lives while restoring homes to livable conditions. This task may include light construction, painting, trash clean-up or hanging drywall. Lives will be eternally changed because of the work this team will accomplish. You will grow immensely. You can expect to come home changed. Finish the week camping at Natural Bridge State Park, and exploring the famous Red River Gorge of Kentucky.

Roll up your sleeves and work side-by-side with your newfound fiends as you travel to central Wisconsin to help out with the construction of new facilities at a local Christian camp there. Spend the last half of your week rock climbing at Devil’s Lake State Park, camping on the shores of Lake Superior, and participating in a waterfall hike that is sure to leave lasting memories. If you’ve ever considered working for Timber-lee, felt called to reach out and minister to peers, or desire to worship God through service this summer, we want you on this trip! .
Ladies, this trip is especially for you! Join our highly trained, passionate female guides as you backpack in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and raft the whitewater of the Wolf River. You will be challenged physically, emotionally and spiritually as you learn about the inner beauty of a godly woman. Experience gorgeous sunsets, deep conversations around the fire, and encouragement from your counselors on this incredible week-long journey!
Stow your gear in your canoe for an adventure down the progressive whitewater of the Flambeau River. Swap exciting stories of the incredible day around the campfire as we camp along the riverbanks. Wrap up the canoe portion of the trip by making your way through Cedar Rapids and Beaver Dam. Next you will head to Devil’s Lake State Park for some amazing views and rock climbing. Your Timber-lee Adventure guides will challenge you to grow in your faith throughout the week as you face the physical obstacles of the river and climbing routes.
Flying down hills, zipping past rocks and trees – all on two wheels! Adventure at its utmost! The trip begins and ends on the John Muir Trails in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine Forests, with a whole lot of excitement in between. Experienced guides will help you to Improve your biking skills daily as we travel the state by van to visit some of the greatest bike trails Wisconsin has to offer. Spend your evenings camping out with time to review your days’ peddling and hear from your counselors about what Jesus is teaching them in their lives.
The sound of the loons off in the distance help set the stage for this week of solitude and growth. Escape the distractions of everyday life and join us on our trip into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Canoeing, portaging and orienteering skills will be used on a daily basis as you and your highly trained counselors make your way through the beautiful wilderness of the Boundary Waters. You will be challenged by your counselors to look into what it means to be a godly man as you’re provided time to n reflect and enjoy solitude. Character building is one of the main themes. Personal growth is a guarantee!
This two week camp session is for those who are very serious about their walk with Jesus and want to learn through experience some personal disciplines to help along the way. Your journey will begin by spending time with and getting to know the other campers in your group and your counselors. From there you’ll be working and learning together about how to make Jesus the focal point of your life. Special activities both on-site and off grounds add fun and excitement throughout your stay. Opportunities are available for service projects as well as interacting and leading cabin devotions for younger Timber-lee campers. Relaxing evenings will be for playing games, spending time together as a group, and discussion oriented teaching times. This experience will leave you a changed person!
