Time can be really scarce for today’s teenagers. With so many things in their schedule, the week at Timber-lee can be a huge refreshment for the body, soul, and spirit. There will be time for all of your favorite Timber-lee activities, as well as some new ones to try. And, as always, we set aside time for things that really matter – authentic worship, personal reflection, real relationships – so that spiritual growth is encouraged. Jesus is at work in our lives year ‘round, but for many, Camp Timber-lee is a place where this work is accelerated. Don’t miss what God has in store this season!
This camp is intended for true horse lovers. Most of each day is spent at the ranch learning Western horsemanship, horse care and handling, vaulting, brushing and saddling, as well as other fun horse events. Wranglers will also ride out for an overnight at an on grounds campsite. This camp is appropriate for all levels of riders.
Leave your baggage behind and join a small group of teens committed to walking closely with Jesus. This two week journey will provide in depth personal spiritual development through Bible study and worship, exploring spiritual disciplines, and practice of interpersonal skills. Special outings and camp activities will provide for a very memorable experience.

#415 (Difficulty rating: 1 paddle): Kentucky is rated the eleventh poorest state in the US. As you arrive at your work site, you may be surprised
to see how some of your fellow countrymen live. Our group will make a difference in the lives of people who live
day to day wondering where their next meal will come from. You will be rebuilding dreams and lives while restoring
homes into livable conditions. This task may include light construction, painting, trash clean-up or hanging
drywall. We will also seek to find ways to have the opportunity to impact the lives of children in Pippa Passes,
by providing them with an afternoon ministry. Lives will be eternally changed because of the work this team will
accomplish. You will grow immensely. You can expect to come home changed. Finish the week rock climbing in the
famous Red River Gorge of Kentucky.
#425 (Difficulty rating: 2.5 paddles): Explore the tradition and heritage of the Navajo people
on Arizona’s Navajo Reservation. The natural beauty of this area is unparalleled, with its deserts, forests, majestic
mesas, mountains and canyons. Although the Navajo people are strong and proud, their economy has struggled, leaving
many tribal members without jobs and living in poverty. Our group will serve many of these needy community members
through working on homes and ministering to children and elderly residents on the reservation. During the second
half of the trip we will be traveling to Moab, Utah for a multi-night canyonland adventure. Native Americans
utilized these areas for many years.
#408 (Difficulty rating: 2 paddles): A Christian Leadership Workshop for High School students
seeking a spiritual challenge and an opportunity to serve. Roll up your sleeves and work side-by-side with you
newfound friends, as you get involved in the construction of new facilities at a local Christian camp. Then
spend the last half of the week rock climbing at Devils Lake, camping on the shores of Lake Superior, and
participating in a waterfall hike that is sure to leave lasting memories. If you’ve ever considered working for
Timber-lee, felt called to reach out and minister to peers, or desire to worship God through service this summer,
we want you on this trip!
