Senior High Classic Camp

What every high school student needs is a chance to get away from the daily grind and spend some real quality time with friends both old and new. Our high school program is designed for just that with special tournaments, a talent show and amazing “high school week only” late night events. Move at your own pace as you choose the activities you want to participate in each day. Go jam-packed or relaxed. Chapel is all about connecting with Jesus through great music and a challenging speaker. Cabin counselors are there to walk with you through topics of faith, friends and family. Are you thirsting for more than the Classic Camp experience? Come join in this adventure that is suited just for you! Together we will spend the afternoons paintballing on our wooded and speedball courses, speeding up and down on mountain bike trails, climbing and rappelling at the tower and trap shooting at the local range. You’ll also have some time to participate in some of the other amazing activities Timber-lee has to offer. See note below for special activities exclusive to each session.

This camp is for those truly horse crazy teens. Spend four to five hours each day at the ranch participating in activities that include Western Horsemanship, horse care and handling, vaulting, grooming, saddling, and other horse-related events. Enjoy a trail ride out to our base camp one night for an overnight trip with your horse! This camp is for any level of rider. Campers entering into or returning to the Wranglers program have the chance to advance within the levels taught each year by mastering the appropriate skills. There will be limited time available each day for other Timber-lee activity areas.

Do you love to sing and play music for the Lord? Then this camp packed full of musical worship is just for you! Psalm 150 tells us that we need to praise the Lord everywhere and with everything. The chapter ends with, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Play and sing alongside Timber-lee’s worship band as you learn everything from instrumentation to the teamwork necessary to be part of a musical group. We will spend the week focusing on leading people into worship with opportunity for hands-on experience. This week will challenge your musical abilities* and take you to the next level!

This two week camp session is for those who are very serious about their walk with Jesus and want to learn through experience some personal disciplines to help along the way. Your journey will begin by spending time with and getting to know the other campers in your group and your counselors. From there you’ll be working and learning together about how to make Jesus the focal point of your life. Special activities both on-site and off-grounds add fun and excitement throughout your stay. Opportunities are available for service projects that will help put your faith into action. Relaxing evenings will be for playing games, spending time together as a group and discussion-oriented teaching times. This experience will leave you a changed person!

Boundary Waters Canoe Adventure

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area offers a great atmosphere in which to get away from the distractions of everyday life. Learn how to canoe, portage and navigate your way through the wilderness while setting time aside for solitude and personal spiritual growth. Spend your evenings enjoying the sounds of loons in the distance and stars like you’ve never seen before. Your Adventure guides will be there to help you discover what it means to mature as a Godly woman or man as you spend time in this magnificent outdoor setting.

Whitewater rafting, rock climbing and spelunking. Enough said. This trip does it all in a week! Your journey begins as you head underground for some exploring of the incredible tunnels and caves of Western Wisconsin. Next you’ll turn your eyes upward as you prepare for your natural face climb at Devil’s Lake State Park. The week wraps up with an exciting run through the whitewater of the Wolf River. You’ll be challenged along the way by your Timber-lee Adventure guide to take steps in your journey of faith.

#412 Kentucky
Make new friends as we head down to Kentucky for a trip that you’ll never forget! We will partner up with Twin Rocks Bible Camp for a week of service, ministry and fun. Trail maintenance, painting and some light construction will keep us busy during the day. In the evenings, we’ll gather to experience some of the local culture. Highlights from the past few years include the Hoe Down, connecting with the staff and campers at Twin Rocks and picking up a Kentucky accent. Due to the socio-economic differences that you’ll see, you can’t help but examine your own priorities. The second portion of the trip will take us to Natural Bridge State Park where we will explore and experience the unique beauty of the area.

#418 Wisconsin
Get ready to work and play hard! This trip is designed for those that want to be challenged in their faith, meet new people and have a great time serving! Connect with others that want to serve as we come alongside another camp in Central Wisconsin to clean, repaint and build buildings as well as build friendships. The second portion of the trip includes rock climbing at Devil’s Lake State Park, camping on the shores of Lake Superior and exploring waterfalls on a river hike. If you have ever thought of working at Timber-lee, felt called to reach out to friends or worship the Lord through service, this trip is for you.

#424 Colorado
Take an amazingly scenic journey with us to share in hands-on ministry at a Christian camp in Colorado. We will travel by van and stop along the way to see various sites including Mt. Rushmore and Rocky Mountain National Park. When we’re not helping out around camp, we’ll venture out into the mountains for some Rocky Mountain adventures! Get to know your guides and be challenged with new ways to grow in your faith. Life-long friendships are sure to form with those around you.

Join our highly trained, passionate female guides as you backpack in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and spend some time shooting the rapids in Northern Wisconsin. You will be challenged physically, emotionally and spiritually as you learn about the inner beauty of a Godly woman. Pedal hard up the hills and fly down the other side. This trip takes you to some of the best single-track trails in Wisconsin, where you’ll learn how to improve your riding and how to maintain your bike after a good, hard ride. After a few days of biking, rest your legs as you conquer the whitewater river rapids of Northern Wisconsin. Spend your evenings camping out with time to review your day’s excitement and be challenged by your guides to take another step in your faith.
