BUILT FOR MORE
Camp Timber-lee is investing in two projects that will shape the experience for generations of campers: a major upgrade to the beloved Creation Walk, and a new multipurpose building with a full-size gym and stage. Both are underway. Both need finishing. You choose where your gift lands.
The Creation Walk
Every dollar given right now is matched. Dollar for dollar. Up to $75,000.
Ask almost any Timber-lee camper what they remember most, and there's a good chance the Creation Walk comes up. It's a seven-room indoor exhibit at the Science Center (and one of the few air-conditioned spaces at camp, which doesn't hurt its popularity). For decades it has been the place where kids slow down, look closely at the world God made, and ask the kinds of questions that stay with them long after the summer ends.
The problem is that the technology powering it hasn't been updated since the 1990s. Literally; we're still running DVD players. The content is as powerful as ever, but the experience deserves better, and so do the kids who walk through it.
We're raising $150,000 to bring the Creation Walk fully into the present. A generous donor has committed to matching every gift made to this project, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000. We've already raised $75,000; the next $75,000 is what gets us to the finish line, and every dollar of it doubles. Construction starts in November, which means October 31 is our hard deadline.
The math is simple: a $250 gift becomes $500. A $1,000 gift becomes $2,000. If you've ever wanted your generosity to go further than a single dollar, this is that moment.

The Multipurpose Building
The building is happening. Now we fill it.
Timber-lee is constructing a new multipurpose building: a full-size gym with a stage and flexible programming space, designed for the kind of all-camp moments that become the ones kids talk about for decades. The $2.5 million structure is already in motion. What we're raising now is the $250,000 for everything that goes inside it; the scoreboard kids will remember winning and losing under, the stage where a teenager will stand up and say something true for the first time, and the hundred other things that turn a structure into a place.
Total need:
$250,000 for furniture, fixtures, and equipment
