At Timber-lee, we use big fun as a tool to build big confidence. We’ve designed our activities so that every child, regardless of their athletic ability or experience, walks away feeling like a hero.
The Best Zoo in Camp: Our USDA-licensed Science Center follows the same animal care guidelines as the Milwaukee Zoo. With over 60 species, including chinchillas, lizards, and "big rabbits," it offers an educational experience where kids can marvel at nature up close.
Waterfront Thrills: Our lakefront features commercial-grade slides just like you’d find in the Wisconsin Dells, including one that shoots you out like a cannon into the water.
Success-Based Adventure: We want kids to love new things, not fear them. In archery, we start kids shooting at the back of the target so they aren't discouraged if they miss the bullseye. On our 900-foot zipline, four parallel lines allow "BFFs to go together," turning a big moment into a shared victory.

What a Week (3 Days) at Camp Start Looks Like
Day 1: Arrival & Belonging
The journey begins with a warm welcome. Counselors are on hand to help with unpacking and to facilitate immediate introductions within the small cabin group. We prioritize social belonging from the first hour, ensuring no child feels like a stranger. The evening is spent around a campfire, setting the stage for a community built on horizontal relationships and shared joy.
Day 2: Discovery & Adventure
This is a day of firsts. Campers head to the Science Center to meet animals before hitting the waterfront for a session on the giant slides. In the afternoon, they might try their hand at the fishing dock (a camp favorite where even first-timers often catch four or five fish) or fly down the 900-foot zipline with a friend. Every activity is an opportunity for a counselor to look a child in the eye, ask questions, and celebrate their courage. The day culminates in an energetic chapel session designed specifically for young hearts.
Day 3: Impact & Confidence
On the final day, campers experience the Creation Walk, reflecting on the beauty of the world around them. After one last round of high-energy games and a closing celebration, they prepare for heading home. By pickup time, you aren't just getting your child back; you’re meeting a version of them that is more independent, more resilient, and proud of what they’ve accomplished in the fresh air.
